Lights and Light Kits

Madjax Support Light Kits FAQ's

Q: I installed a Madjax Ultimate light kit on my precedent and everything is working except the headlights and tail lights. What do I do?

A: You need to make sure you have your purple wire from your ultimate harness connected to the brown wire from your light kit harness. Note: Some light kits will have two yellow wires instead of a yellow and brown wire. In this case you will need to use your volt meter and find the one that does NOT have any voltage. This is the one you need to plug into the purple wire.

Q: I installed a light kit on my gas precedent and there is only a 9 pin connector behind the dash. Where do I plug my light kit in?

A: On Precedent gas carts you will need a gas harness to tie into the Club Car harness.

Q: I installed my new ultimate light kit on my Precedent and the brake lights don't work.

The blue and green need to be tied together. This will complete the circuit for the brake pad.

A: on the back of the horn is a small black ring filled with grey silicone. Dig the silicone out to see the screw beneath and turn the screw counter clockwise to loosen the diaphragm in the horn. fill back with silicon to prevent water from getting inside the horn.
